Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Campaign Manager for a local authority client based in East London.

In this role, you will lead and deliver high-profile campaigns that showcase the borough as a vibrant place to live, work, invest, and visit, while managing stakeholder relationships, driving engagement, and enhancing the borough's reputation.

Key Duties:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the borough's flagship place campaign, creating strategies and managing budgets to enhance the council's reputation.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, organise community events, and represent the council at external meetings to promote the borough.
  • Manage communications officers, provide leadership, and track the effectiveness of campaigns to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Oversee media relations, handle inquiries, and work across departments to align communications with council priorities and community needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Proven experience in managing successful campaigns, developing strategic communications plans, and measuring their impact.
  • Strong background in building relationships with stakeholders, managing media relations, and securing media coverage.
  • Experience in leading and supporting a team, setting goals, and ensuring successful campaign execution.
  • Expertise in creating high-quality content for multiple platforms and using digital tools to engage audiences and track campaign performance.

What's on offer:

Salary: £217+pe day

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 12 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
