Looking for a Communications Manager - Transformation, who will be instrumental developing and driving strategic communication initiatives across the organisation ensuring that the change programmes are fully engaged with at all levels and embedded.

Client Details

Our client is a well-respected organisation that has rapidly expanded and brings excellence in dispute resolution & wider support to their industry specialism. They are undertaking a programme of transformation to improve their internal processes, use of technology and operating structures to expand their work and promote positive change across the industry sector.

This work is critical to the successful delivery of the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy coupled with the corporate strategy 2025-30.

Description

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage the delivery of the transformation communications strategy and associated priority project communications and engagement plans, providing effective two-way communication and engagement with colleagues.
  • Develop and cascade tailored messaging frameworks that meet the needs of internal audiences
  • Support leadership to cascade the transformation in a consistent, relevant and timely manner.
  • Take ownership for the delivery of engaging communications that meets the needs of a remote / hybrid workforce.
  • Manage one direct report & undertake matrix management of members of the wider communications and engagement management team to deliver quality, timely and innovative communications.
  • Lead the recruitment of and manage a team of change champions from across the management community to establish a forum for two-way communications throughout the transformation.
  • Develop and deliver metrics to measure the impact of the transformation communications and engagement undertaken, alongside identification of risks and opportunities.

Profile

The candidate that secures the Communications Manager - Transformation will bring the following skills and attributes:

  • A proven track record in strategic communications planning and communications delivery of organisational change programmes across everything from corporate structure to behavioural and culture change.
  • Ideally working knowledge of change within the public sector or associated bodies.
  • Excellent demonstrable knowledge of delivering change communications in a complex matrix business structure
  • The ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively, influencing at a senior level
  • People management and leadership skills - inspiring and motivating colleagues to embrace the change programmes
  • Training & Development - adept at upskilling teams where gaps in knowledge are identified
  • Ability to 'hit the ground' running and impact on change communications priorities with empathy and efficiency
  • Demonstrates resilience in the face of resistance to change and is solutions focused.
