A world renowned University in London is looking to bring on an External Communications Manager for an initial 2 months to support with strategic planning and implementation of existing projects and plans the University has in play.

Client Details

Our client is an internationally recognised University in London.

The team are in the office twice a week in central London.

This role can be done on either a 5 or 4 day a week basis.

Description

  • With a focus on the arts and humanities subject areas, lead the development and delivery of the external communications plan.
  • Ensure communications planning and delivery targeting policy makers and stakeholders in other sectors.
  • Management of existing communications projects and plans.
  • Quickly build relationships with key stakeholders across communications and in wider teams.
  • Ensure news stories are being shared and updated regularly.

Profile

  • Proven track record in developing and delivering creative external communications campaigns through news outlets and social media.
  • Excellent planning and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of successfully engaging and building strong, trusted and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in complex, multi-layered organisations.

Desirable:

  • Experience in arts or humanities communication planning and delivery.

Job Offer

  • Initial 2 month contract to start as soon as possible.
  • Day rate - PAYE or Umbrella.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Full or part time working available - 4 or 5 days a week.
  • Central London office.
