Interim Public Affairs and Advocacy Manager - NGO/Charity Experience Required

*IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED*

£200 - £300 day rate

Temporary 2 - 3 Months

Urgent requirement for someone to start immediately within a Public Affairs team. Due to the urgent need to cover this role, we require someone that can start as soon as possible and can cover for at least the next 3-4 weeks.

The right candidate will need to have good parliamentary advocacy experience and to understand what is needed in the run-up to an election.

Tasks that need covering are detailed below:

  • Deliver direct advocacy to Prospective Parliamentary Candidates using the organisations 'manifesto’ where appropriate.
  • Provide analysis of election result, prepare 'welcome / introduction to the charity’ materials for new Government and incoming ministers.
  • Prepare advocacy asks and messaging for next government, including 'first 100 days in government.’
  • Map out immediate actions required re. APPG.
  • Provide main advocacy and election point of contact for the organisation, responding to organisational queries, including updates for commercial partners where needed.
