Role Overview

Working from our Margaret Street HQ in London, Savills is looking for an experienced PR manager, who is results driven and understands the news agenda, to manage PR for some of our London based teams and divisions as well as selected UK regions.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing strategies to raise Savills profile and key individuals within the company in the national and international press as well as via digital platforms
  • Planning and implementing comprehensive press campaigns for properties and projects
  • Acting as a trusted PR advisor to stakeholders within the business
  • Recognising and understanding how policy change and legislation may affect the relevant divisions
  • Communicating with and managing the expectations of high profile clients/instructions
  • Liaising with PR agencies and press offices in respect of joint instructions, where required
  • Working with internal communications team on PR education programmes as applicable
  • Contributing to internal PR reports and analysis
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across the print, broadcast and digital media landscape (property and news) and adhering to deadlines
  • Securing widespread coverage both in the UK and internationally
  • Content creation – writing press releases, thought leadership, blogs and internal news bulletins
  • Writing relevant and on brand market commentary on behalf of agents and advising on/drafting responses to issues or sensitive subject matters
  • Working closely with the wider PR and Communications team
  • Collaborating with and providing content to the Social Media team

Key Skills

  • Minimum three to five years’ PR experience
  • Must have excellent and proven copywriting / content creation skills
  • Experience in advising stakeholders and clients
  • The ability to identify stories / recognise topical issues and themes affecting the real estate market
  • Good understanding of digital communications and social media
  • Ability to work with and report to a number of different stakeholders across the business
  • Must be a self-starter, able to manage own workload and have a sound judgement
  • Previous experience in property PR an advantage
