A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, proactive and independent Senior Communications Manager to join the supportive Business Development & Marketing team of a London based, specialist law firm.

This is a newly created role within the firm’s Business Development & Marketing team and the successful applicant will be joining at an exciting time for the firm, following the recent launch of a refreshed brand and a new website which are an important part of an ambitious marketing and business development strategy. You will be instrumental in bringing the brand to life, by supporting the Corporate and Tax practices to build closer connections with contacts and clients and delivering exceptional results through your initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Business Development & Marketing, the Senior Communications Manager will play a lead role on the firm’s internal and external communications strategy and execution. Included in this remit is raising and maintaining the firm’s profile and brand through effective media management, digital communication and other channels that support business development. This will be a hands-on role, working closely with the Business Development & Marketing team and the firm’s leadership to provide strategic planning and editorial support to all parts of the business. The role holder will not have direct line management responsibility at this stage but will be instrumental in the coaching and development of junior members of the team.

A strong team player with a client service orientation, the ideal candidate will have substantial proven experience in communications, to include demonstrable success in media management, content marketing and campaigns, ideally gained in a professional services or regulated environment. Organised and detailed oriented with good project management skills, the Senior Communications Manager will possess a good knowledge of media, digital marketing and martech platforms including websites social media platforms and associated analytics. An excellent command of language, with the ability to produce sophisticated and contextual communications, combined with a keen eye for compelling content and a passion for new marketing channels and for staying abreast of developments in this space will also be essential.
