Building Remediation Manager- Remote- Mon- Fri- £37,000 + £4500 Car AllowanceJob Title: Building Remediation ManagerSalary: £37,000, £4500 Car Allowance and PackageWorking Hours: Monday -Friday 9:00- 17:00pm. My client, a market leader of services to the property sector in the UK that are part of a worldwide group are looking for a Building Remediation Manager to join the growing team. This is a position that will be done on a remote basis with the opportunity to visit sites and a regional office. This is a great opportunity to join a relatively new team but one with a huge backing and opportunity to grow!Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Attend and deliver the strategy at client meetings for the projects by being the main point of contact
  • To lead on Building Safety Fund matters
  • Working closely with the resident management companies and building owners to establish the specific requirements
  • Engaging with developers to discuss building remediation for a portfolio of buildings
  • Liaise with insurers and insurance brokers regarding the proposed works
  • Ensure legal compliance regarding licenses, agreements whilst ensuring compliance with Landlord and Tenant Act, Building Safety Act and relevant Health & Safety legislation that might be applicable

Must have:

  • Property Management experience
  • Good understanding of the building remediation process including applications to the government funding (BSF)
  • Excellent understanding of leasehold property management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • A keen problem solver
  • Client facing
  • Strong administration and excellent IT skills
  • Positive and encouraging attitude

Good to have but not essential:

  • IRPM (AIRPM/ MIRPM) / AssocRICS or equivalent
