Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking the inspection, recording, and reporting of street works
- Assessing licences, highway infrastructure, and surface apparatus defects
- Ensuring compliance with street works legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
- Applying relevant highways legislation in everyday operations
- Delivering a professional service to maximise income for the Council
Job Requirements:
- Experience with New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) inspections
- Strong understanding of street works legislation and associated regulations
- Ability to accurately record and report findings
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capability to deliver high-quality services in a professional manner
