BI Power Project Officer

Southwark

Contract

£345.86 per day PAYE or £450 per day limited paid via Umbrella Company inside IR35

Our client is looking for an experienced BI Power Project Officer.

Require someone to work short term on a project to put all repairs data onto power BI and set up so that going forward this is automatic and managers all have access

To drive forward the Power BI development programme for the Adult Social Care Divsion

including the writing of reports to extract data from case management systems.

The role’s purpose is focused on the technical aspects of utilising Power BI to its fullest

potential including the extracting of data from case management systems using SQL.

Working collaboratively with the Management Information Unit, Adult Social Care managers,

Finance, commissioning, key internal and external partners and front line staff, this role will

translate business requirements into accurate visual management information through the

building and direction of meaningful dashboards and reports allowing for actionable insights.

Knowledge, including educational qualifications:

Good understanding of the national and local context for Adult

services, including Preventative Services, Safeguarding and Key

Excellent analytical and numerical skills and a demonstrable ability

to work with datasets

Experience:

Relevant professional qualification or experience in Adult services

Experience of performance management, data cleanliness, quality

assurance processes and operations in a high performing team.

Excellent understanding of relational database concepts and how

BI solutions are built

Experience of using a range of software and systems relevant to

adult’s services in support of data extraction, manipulation,

presentation and submission, for example: Experience of Microsoft

Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Power Query);

Mosaic, Liquid Logic or similar MI systems,

BI tools (preferably PowerBI) (E) T-SQL or PL/SQL programming
