We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our clients site based in Woolwich, South London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a small digging team, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and efficiently, as well as reinstating teams and any additional contractors.
This role requires leadership skills with a strong health and safety compliance focus. Street works coordination and the ability to supervise various tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to specification.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain clear communication with upper management regarding project progress, challenges, and resource needs.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise among team members promptly and effectively.
- Prepare reports on site performance, including productivity metrics and safety incidents.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role with specific experience with 11kV power installations and highway works.
- Strong skills in managing teams.
- Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to the site environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
