Your new companyYou will be joining an established utilities and civil engineering contractor based in Northampton delivering HV and LV installations on sites in North London. This NERS-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of utilities work in the North London area and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of HV/LV works.

Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will be based initially on sites in Perivale, Cricklewood, Tottenham and Hackney, and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors on multi-site projects (between 5-10 men)
  • Conducting site visits and inspection to ensure compliance with safety regulations and specifications
  • Providing regular project updates and reports to senior management
  • Ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site at all times
  • Collaborating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely on time, within budget and to expected quality.

This is a full-time permanent position on a 45-hour working week.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful experience in the delivery of HV/LV installations including associated civil works (trench works, concrete substation bases/plinths)
  • CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid qualifications
  • Understanding of CDM regulations, NEC contracts and health and safety
  • Full UK driving licence.
