Fit Out Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fit Out Manager to oversee theinternal packages from the concrete frame stage through to full turnkey handover. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fit-out management within the residential sector, ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an RC frame build, purehousebuilding (traditional brick and block) internals experience will not be considered. This is for a residential main contractor who build hotels, student accomodations, social housing, super prime and retirement living complexes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all fit-out activities from the concrete frame through to completion, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution of the fit-out process.
• Oversee quality control for all fit-out works, conducting inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Prepare and manage fit-out budgets, track costs, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
• Maintain detailed documentation of fit-out progress, variations, and completion stages.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide updates to senior management on project status and any potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the fit-out process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fit Out Manager or similar role within the residential construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Relevant degree or qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
