A site manager is required for a high-end residential project, based in London. Our clients have extensive portfolios dealing with bespoke and luxurious projects ranging from homes to hotels and are looking for an experienced and hardworking site manager to work on projects around London and who is accessible by transport links. Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the progress and operation of the construction site on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensuring compliance by following the required safety procedures are followed and meeting the expected health and safety standards.
- Liaising with the project managers on a regular basis and providing detailed reports of the progress on site, as well as architects and designers to ensure that the vision is met.
- Regularly assess progress and make adjustments to fit timescale and budget, with the consultation of workers and project managers.
- Coordinate with on site workers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless operation.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a site manager, particularly in high end residential and luxurious projects.
- Exceptional teamwork and leadership to deliver an efficient operation, on time and within budget.
- Required credentials and qualifications such as Black CSCS Card, 3-5 day First Aid qualification, SMSTS Credentials.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related field, or NVQ Level 6-7 in Construction Site Management or similar qualifications are highly beneficial and advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and finishes is essential.
- Analyse and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Meticulous attention to detail and drive for excellence.
- Ability to commute to site in London
