We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee multiple construction projects while supporting property acquisitions and cost estimations. What you’ll be doing:- Leading and coordinating multiple construction teams across various sites, ensuring efficient project delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Identifying and assessing potential properties for HMO conversion opportunities.
- Conducting property viewings and producing detailed inspection reports on conversion potential.
- Developing capital expenditure proposals, including cost breakdowns and timelines.
- Monitoring and optimising project progress, proactively identifying and resolving any delays or issues.
- Maintaining strong communication with clients, estate agents, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency and project delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and HMO licensing requirements.
- Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Providing regular project status reports and updates to senior management.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction operations management, ideally within the construction or housing sectors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing foremen and site teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
- Competitive base salary (£40,000 - £45,000, based on experience).
