Your Next Role – What You’ll Be DoingThis fast-growing main contractor, renowned for its expertise in high-quality Cat A & B office fit-outs, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team. With three new projects recently secured, each valued at around £1m, the successful candidate will lead these exciting works from pre-construction to completion.As a site-based No. 1 PM, reporting to the company directors, you will have full responsibility for project delivery, managing budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Your role will also involve leading and motivating the project team, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on-site.Key responsibilities include:
  • Full accountability for project specification, programme, and budget delivery.
  • Overseeing the quality of workmanship in collaboration with the No. 1 Site Manager.
  • Managing all pricing, programming, and contract negotiations.
  • Leading design management processes and coordinating with the client’s team.
  • Negotiating subcontractor terms and ensuring alignment with the main contract.
  • Proactively managing risks, controlling costs, and maximising project profitability.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Assisting directors with business development and securing new opportunities.
