The Role / Client

Cobalt is currently working with very well know Developer that have an excellent opportunity for a electrical biased Project Manager to join their successful team,. As an Electrical Project Manager, you'll oversee procurement, implementation, and the successful close-out of electrical packages on complex, large-scale projects. From scope definition to final handover, you'll be instrumental in ensuring these developments meet the highest quality standards and exceed expectations.

What You'll Do:

  1. Create detailed tender scopes and manage tender processes end-to-end.
  2. Oversee contractor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of programmes, technical documents, and quality standards.
  3. Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and manage defects until completion.
  4. Drive collaboration across design, construction, and cost management teams.
  5. Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety standards, promoting a culture of safety.
  6. Deliver a comprehensive final report, including "lessons learned" and contractor evaluations.

  • Experience & Expertise: A proven track record managing M&E packages on projects exceeding 300,000 sqft, ideally within high-rise developments.
  • Technical Knowledge: Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/ONC in Building Studies) and familiarity with fast-track design and construction programmes.
  • Leadership & Teamwork: Self-motivated, tenacious, and collaborative.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
