The role involves managing multiple stakeholders, ensuring the programs scope, cost, and timelines are met. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring that objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary, and implementing mitigation plans. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing. Stakeholder Management:Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Lead regular progress meetings and provide transparent reporting on the programmes status. Manage changes to the programmes scope, including contract amendments, and ensure customer satisfaction. Financial and Resource Management:Define and manage the programmes budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimising cost overruns. Prepare and maintain programme schedules, resource plans, and cost tracking. Work closely with finance teams to manage programme financials and profitability. Compliance and Governance:Ensure all aspects of the programme adhere to company and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, quality systems, and industry-specific regulations. Maintain accurate programme documentation and ensure compliance with governance structures. Team Leadership and Development: Provide direction and leadership to the programme team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Support the career development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Identify and implement training opportunities for continuous improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in programme management, with a track record of delivering large-scale and complex projects. Education: Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable. Skills:Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent financial acumen and ability to manage budgets. Proven experience working with external stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers. Familiarity with aerospace or engineering sectors is highly desirable. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in a technical industry.
