Your new companyI am working with an International Business Charity, and we are looking for someone to head up a small team of three to lead the implementation of key projects in Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria. You will be leading on the project management, reporting, risk and budget management of this complex programme, being the first point of contact for internal and external queries.
Your new roleThe successful candidate will:
- Lead on the successful implementation and management of the international project, spanning over three countries with key management responsibilities in delivery plans, budgets, risks, resources and setups.
- Oversee financial management and reporting of the project, updating project funders to proactively maintain up-to-date budgets and forecasts.
- Direct line management of three employees.
- Track the implementation of the project via a logical framework to ensure effective output.
- Coordination of communication internally of project updates.
What you'll need to succeedThis position is ideal for someone who:
- Hold a Prince2 / APM qualification.
- Experience in Engineering, science, business or policy project management, managing complex, high profile, international projects.
- Track record of managing large scale projects within the public and international sectors.
- Experience in management of external contractors and procurement to ensure project delivery.
What you'll get in returnThis is a fantastic FTC for someone with proven Project and International experience to head up an exciting programme of work. Salary is between £46,000 - £50,000/annum, 28 days AL plus 10.5 days bank and public holidays, competitive pension, remote working.
