Job Title: Technical ManagerLocation: South West LondonSector: Large scale mixed use residentialAbout the Role: A leading UK developer are looking to expand their Technical department with the addition of a Technical Manager on a permanent basis.This role will play a crucial part across several divisions in the company, not only supporting the Technical Director with the early stages of large super schemes up to £400m in value but also working with the Estates team on their retained land project, providing assistance with the technical elements of disposing of various leasehold elements of several schemes to a portfolio of investors.Key Responsibilities for the Retained Land Project:
- Review and manage technical documentation for Land Titles.
- Prepare and maintain the data room, ensuring compliance.
- Conduct inspections and generate reports on technical findings.
- Collaborate with Estates and Legal teams to enhance processes.
- Address technical issues during the conveyance process.
Other Responsibilities:
- Work with the design team to ensure timely and quality production information.
- Collaborate with Land, Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams to prepare technical specifications.
- Manage statutory submissions and ensure compliance with NHBC/LABC/Building Regulations.
- Prepare and present the Pre-Contract Programme.
- Coordinate with the Commercial team to maintain budget controls and cost estimates.
- Conduct regular site inspections, addressing technical issues and health and safety matters.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates to the Technical Director.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical background on Residential schemes
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proven experience in managing complex documentation and project timelines.
