What will you do?
As Building Safety Manager, you will oversee the management of LBHF's high-rise and higher-risk buildings (HRRBs) in line with the Building Safety Act 2022, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining the Golden Thread of Information. You will be responsible for preparing safety case reports, fire and emergency files, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fire safety is managed effectively across the housing stock.


·Prepare and submit safety case reports to the Building Safety Regulator/HSE.
·Lead resident engagement and ensure fire and structural safety concerns are managed within high-rise and higher-risk buildings.
·Manage communication between LBHF and the Building Safety Regulator.
·Conduct random inspections to maintain high fire safety standards and work with the London Fire Brigade for joint inspections.
·Provide fire safety advice to tenants, including vulnerable individuals, and contribute to newsletters and presentations.
·Assist in developing and maintaining Fire Safety strategies, policies, and databases.
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
·UK Resident
·3 years minimum experience working within public sector
·Expertise in fire safety, building regulations, and related legislation.
·Experience managing high-risk building safety and engaging with residents.
·Ability to prepare technical reports and safety case documentation.
