Shirley Parsons have been exclusively retained by Brentford Football club who are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager. This is a newly created position and is a fantastic opportunity for somebody to make their mark on a renowned organisation. The Health and Safety Manager will play a critical role in developing a safety-first culture across the club, ensuring compliance and achieving best in practice Health and Safety standards across all their operations.

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic Health and Safety leadership across the organisation
  • Chairing the Health and Safety Committee and prepare reports for the club's Board and Executive Committee.
  • Managing a diverse risk portfolio ranging from live events, retail, construction, travel and leisure facilities.
  • Reviewing, updating and maintaining Health and Safety Management system




The Health and Safety Manager will have:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; ideally CMIOSH or working towards
  • Proven experience in managing Health and Safety in large, complex, multi-site environments
  • Sports, events or entertainment experience is highly desirable
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
