Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Contract Manager to join our team, overseeing the a large scale social housing refurbishment contract in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a range of high-profile projects, including repairs, maintenance, internal and external refurbishments, kitchens/bathrooms, and planned works, as part of long-term partnerships with the City of London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • KPI Management: Track and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure project success.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of Supervisors, Resident Liaison Officers, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and budget goals.
  • Profitability: Drive profitability for the contract, including pricing management and delivering additional works.
  • Client & Tenant Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with clients and tenants, ensuring excellent communication and satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the contract, ensuring cost control and profit margin targets are met.
  • Process & Customer Management: Ensure compliance with processes, regulations, and customer service excellence.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all works meet the required quality standards and customer expectations.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the social housing and planned maintenance sectors.
  • Leadership: Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive teams to meet project objectives.
  • Financial Acumen: In-depth knowledge of contract financials, with experience in managing costs and maximizing profitability.
  • Customer Focused: Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach to both clients and tenants.
  • Process Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage processes effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Schedule of Rates: Experience with schedule of rates is highly desirable.
  • Motivation & Drive: A highly motivated, ambitious individual focused on delivering results and exceeding expectations.
