?Role: Contract Manager - End of Tenancy Cleaning

Role Description:

Our client, a technology-led cleaning company who prides itself on delivering first-class service standards, has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager to join their Team in London. As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-of-tenancy cleaning operations at a site in Wembley, ensuring all cleaning standards are delivered to the highest standard while managing the onsite cleaning team and maintaining positive relationships with clients. The ideal Contracts Manager will have strong leadership abilities and will be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in contract management within FM or Cleaning is also required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join a Team who is dedicated to providing exceptional cleaning solutions through innovation, sustainability and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-clean audits to assess the condition of each property before cleaning

  • Provide accurate quotations for cleaning services based on pre-clean audits

  • Perform post-clean audits to ensure the work meets the required standards and rectify any deficiencies

  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high levels of service consistency

  • Lead, train and supervise the on-site cleaning team, ensuring productivity and high standards of performance

  • Allocate tasks effectively and manage workloads to meet deadlines

  • Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews, providing coaching and support where necessary

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures at all times

  • Act as the main point of contact for management team and other key stakeholders

  • Provide regular progress updates, addressing any client concerns or special requirements promptly

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to enhance service satisfaction and retention

  • Work closely with the operations team to implement feedback and drive continuous improvement

  • Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment

  • Ensure efficient scheduling of cleaning services to align with tenancy changeovers

  • Maintain accurate records of audits, quotes and completed cleans for reporting and invoicing

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in area/contract management within the Cleaning or Facilities Management sector

  • Strong knowledge of end-of-tenancy cleaning processes and quality standards

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to assess and uphold cleaning standards

  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a cleaning team effectively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders professionally

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in using technology for audits, reporting and communication

  • Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning services
