Junior Sous role Overview:As Junior Sous Chef, youll play a pivotal role in supporting the Sous and Head Chef, contributing to the preparation and execution of our Mediterranean-focused menu. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a professional and collaborative kitchen, working in one of Londons most iconic locations.
Junior Sous responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menu offerings.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
- Train and mentor junior members of the team.
- Manage kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or club.
- Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a strong understanding of its ingredients and techniques.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
