My world-renowned client has a contract opportunity for a Digital Learning manager to join their team asap. You will have experience with digital technologies, systems, and tools applied to adult learning and development. You’ll understand how web-based, multimedia and mobile technologies can be used to enhance learning pathways and outcomes. You’ll also understand the pedagogical, social and cultural issues affecting learning environments/technologies, and possess the ability to develop strategies to deal with them.
You’ll have proven experience of developing on-brand learning materials, and excellent project management skills, with the ability to drive high performance and measurable output within agreed deadlines and budget.
Key duties and responsibilities
• Ensure all online learning provisions are evaluated consistently and regularly to monitor and report on learner experience, accessibility and provide accurate completion rates.
• In collaboration with the Staff Learning Steering Group, establish appropriate dashboard reporting for the OD portfolio of digital learning.
• Evaluate the setup of courses in learning management systems and identify automation opportunities as well as enhanced user journeys.
• Evaluate the performance of external suppliers and draw insights for contracting decisions.
Design and planning
• Lead the design and planning of online learning products with content owners and external delivery partners as required to support the OD portfolio of prioritised activities, rationalizing content that is no longer relevant.

• Ensure that all online learning products are contracted and licensed properly according to terms and conditions.
• Assist and advise colleagues on aligning course design with intended learning outcomes.
• Promote development of content and activities that are inclusive to a diverse staff population and meet international standards for quality and accessibility.
• Advise course teams on how to assure quality, comply with web standards and perform cross-browser checks on materials and activities before release.
• Supervise the digital learning team, suppliers and contractors to ensure required standards and services levels are upheld.
