About the Role
As the Examinations and Training Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth running of professional examinations and training programmes. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills who can handle email and telephone enquiries confidently while maintaining calm under pressure. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will play a vital part in supporting candidates, examiners, and training processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate exam preparation, including printing materials and assisting with exam delivery.
- Provide first-line support for candidate and examiner queries.
- Maintain accurate examination and training records, ensuring data protection compliance.
- Assist with the organisation of committees, working groups, and meetings.
- Support the administration of the specialty training programme, including recruitment and retention records.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of examination certificates.
Skills / Experience Required
- Experience of working with examinations in an awarding, membership, higher education or training environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications (intermediate level in Excel essential).
- Strong administrative skills with experience in fast-paced office environments.
- Confident handling telephone and email enquiries.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Calm, level-headed, and solution-focused under pressure.
