Overview of the Learning & Development Partner - What Will You Achieve?

You’ll be the architect of learning strategies that directly align with business goals, partnering with HR and Manufacturing leaders, including the Head of HR and VP of Supply Chain. Picture yourself shaping bespoke learning interventions that deliver results, enhance capabilities, and pave the way for strategic objectives to be smashed.

With your passion for continuous improvement and a knack for injecting thought leadership into everything you do, you’ll craft tailored learning experiences for diverse teams. Beyond local impact, you’ll also collaborate on regional initiatives, broadening your influence and accelerating growth at every level.

Your Mission
  • Be the L&D Champion: Partner with HRBPs and site leaders across Manufacturing sites to deliver impactful development plans and boost leadership potential.
  • Design with Precision: Use your expertise in adult learning principles to design innovative, value-driven learning programs that create lasting change.
  • Consult for Impact: Identify performance gaps and craft bespoke learning solutions to close them, ensuring measurable results.
  • Collaborate & Elevate: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, Factory Managers, and Supply Chain teams, becoming their go-to expert for all things L&D.
  • Lead with Data: Harness L&D insights to create ROI-focused plans, driving continuous improvement and proving the value of your initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver strategic L&D plans aligned with site and regional objectives.
  • Champion global development initiatives with a laser focus on local execution.
  • Lead needs analysis, instructional design, and performance consulting for tailored learning solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee budgets to maximise impact.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions that inspire action and growth.
  • Maintain and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless learning experiences.
  • Partner with leaders to implement solutions that drive leadership excellence and team development.
What Makes You a Standout Candidate?
  • Proven experience in an Learning & Development Partnering role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • A track record of designing and delivering impactful learning initiatives that drive measurable results.
  • Expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning principles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills - you’re a trusted advisor and change agent.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Passionate about unlocking potential and driving positive change.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or similar environments.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach to achieving success.
