Reed HR are working alongside a large Educational Establishment based in Central London who are recruiting for an Interim HR & L&D Advisor for initially 2 months with a probability of extension. This role is hybrid so travel into the office will be required. 

JOB PURPOSE:

  1. To provide full learning and development and performance management support.
  2. To lead on the recognition scheme process.
  3. To lead on the corporate induction process and HR events.
  4. To act as a first point of contact for all queries relating to the Human Resources team with other team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist with updating and maintenance of staff records, and updates to the learning and development system on a daily basis.
  2. To facilitate the Learning and Development function, as required e.g., organising College-wide training, individual training, booking rooms/e-meetings, confirming training dates, liaising with training suppliers etc.
  3. To facilitate the development and maintenance of the College’s annual training plan and keeping up to date the learning and development budget tracker.
  4. Draft and publish learning and development communications and newsletters to support the professional development of staff at the College, including reports.
  5. Coordinate all-day learning events including the Learning Days and Patients and Carers Conferences, e.g., processing registrations, preparing event materials (name badges, information packs), liaising with the College’s travel provider and catering organisations etc. 
  6. To work with manager to identify learning needs for their teams and to put the appropriate plans into place.
  7. To lead on the Employee Recognition Awards and keep the Employee Recognition budget tracker up to date. 
  8. To facilitate the booking of training and monitoring training evaluation forms and to ensure that they are inputted into the appropriate systems on a monthly basis.
  9. Assist in the preparations for College wide programmes like appraisals, coaching programmes and any other learning and development related programmes. 
  10. Assist with the production of monthly management information.
  11. Organise and conduct new starter inductions and assist with probationary processes.
  12. Assist with the management of invoices.
  13. To keep the learning and development and other appropriate HR pages on the Intranet up to date.
  14. Assist with HR projects, as required.
  15. To attend appropriate College meetings and be the HR representative on appropriate College working groups.
  16. Assist with HR queries and direct them to the appropriate staff, whenever necessary.
  17. Provide administrative support to the HR department and provide appropriate cover to other HR colleagues e.g., HR Administrators when necessary.
