We are recruiting a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager for the grants team of a science organisation based in central London.

Hybrid role - 2 days per week in the office in central London

35 hours per week

Duties:

  • Line management of 1 MEL Officer
  • To work with the MEL Lead, the Senior Leadership Team on prioritisation of grant evaluation projects.
  • To manage a portfolio of Grant's external evaluations
  • To shape and support delivery of other internal or commissioned MEL activities, including measuring the longer-term impact of grant funding
  • To work with the MEL Lead on further developments to the Grant's evaluation framework, methodology and processes to ensure excellence in the approach to MEL, and to define and incorporate MEL requirements of new funding streams and new grant programmes.

This would suit someone with MEL experience or experience in Grant or Research management.
