The MPS are looking to for to support to delivery of the New Met For London training.

Trainer Facilitator

  • Location: London University and other sites in London
  • Job Type: Contract (6 months) with possible extension for phase 3
  • Salary: PAYE £250.00 per day / Umbrella £320.38 per day
  • Working Hours: Onsite 5 days per week, 9am – 5pm

We are seeking qualified Trainer Facilitators to lead the NMFL implementation across various phases. The role requires individuals with a passion for education and training within the operational policing or criminal justice sector. This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend, offering a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to facilitate meaningful learning experiences.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Facilitate in-person training sessions that include challenging discussions and blended learning experiences across London and Docklands.
  • Tailor training delivery to maximise learner inclusion and accommodate individual needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement, participation, and open communication.
  • Collect and utilise feedback to enhance training delivery and content.
  • Coordinate with L&D professionals to align training with organisational goals.
  • Ensure training methods are inclusive, accessible, and respectful of diversity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in operational policing or criminal justice sector (highly desirable).
  • For Phase 2, a Level 4 education or training based qualification OR completion of the College of Policing Trainer Essentials Programme is essential.
  • Ability to engage diverse groups and facilitate complex discussions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
