Telent are on the lookout for a Training Coordinator as part of the Asset Management team. With recent success of new contracts, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator, Scheduler or Coordinator, to join the Technical Training team and support and coordinate training schedules amongst our Engineering team members. The role of Training Coordinator will see you work from our London, Pirin Court office, with flexibility for agile working when suitable.

The purpose of this Training Coordinator role is to support technical training schedules and accreditation enquiries, whilst planning training and accreditation requests and providing administration / coordination support for all Quality Compliance activities and initiatives.

Training Coordinator - What you'll do:

  • Manage new enquiries via the team email inbox
  • Ensuring current documents and information pertaining to training accreditations are issued to suppliers when courses are booked and that these are held on the Supplier Portal
  • Liaise with suppliers and Training Assessors to put together accreditation schedules
  • Ensuring all training accreditation master copies are stored securely in organised and a referenced folder / filing system held on a secure drive in accordance with Telent / Client requirements
  • Report daily to the Line Manager of all outputs, problems and issues that may need escalating
  • Carry out other duties as requested by the Line Manager to support wider team activities

Training Coordinator - Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have come from an Administrative / Administration, Scheduler / Scheduling or Coordinator background, with proven experience of managing data, information and supporting a busy Engineering / Transport style team. This is a fast paced role, so you must be comfortable managing and prioritising workload, delivering on tasks in set deadlines, and being able to support others if they are unable to complete their tasks on time. This is an opportunity to really expand this role in the Transport and Asset Management field, and your own training will be ongoing. We are also looking for the ideal Training Coordinator to be comfortable to attend the London, Pirin Court office, with the option of agile working when suitable (agreed locally).

Training Coordinator - Key requirements:

  • Possess good verbal / written communication skills
  • A skilled user of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Teams
  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively across all levels
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders with an attentive approach
  • Able to work individually whilst playing an active part in the team
  • Data gathering, analysis and interpretation
  • Good time management and able to prioritise work / conflicting priorities
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
  • Must have a positive attitude to change and be able to adapt
  • Prior experience of providing Administration / Coordination support in a Training support department would be a huge advantage
