Wills and Probate Paralegal

Premier Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established law firm in Blackheath, seeking a dedicated Paralegal with expertise in Wills and Probate. This role will also involve supporting the Family and Litigation teams.

Role Details:

  • Location: Blackheath
  • Hours: Office-based, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: Starting from 26,000 per annum, depending on experience (DOE)
  • Responsibilities: Assisting with wills and probate matters and providing support to the Family and Litigation teams as needed

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal to join a respected firm and expand their skills across multiple areas. A strong background in wills and probate is essential, with experience in Family, or Litigation being highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting wills, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) documents, and probate applications
  • Preparing and managing case files, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Communicating with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties, providing updates and gathering required information
  • Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with current legal standards
  • Assisting in the preparation of documents for court hearings and client meetings
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence related to Wills, Probate, Family, and Litigation matters
  • Scheduling appointments, preparing meeting notes, and supporting solicitors in day-to-day case management

Requirements:

  • Essential: Proven experience in wills and probate
  • Preferred: Background in Private Client, Family, and Litigation work
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
