Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Researcher to lead our research initiatives and drive meaningful insights that will inform our product development. You will be at the forefront of our design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions are not only functional but also resonate with our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct both generative and evaluative research to gather insights into user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
  • Lead research practise within a multi-disciplinary team, setting clear strategies and objectives to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Foster strong collaboration across teams, engaging stakeholders to ensure research is recognised as a collective effort.
  • Influence decision-making by presenting research findings and recommendations in a compelling manner.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, balancing diverse opinions to guide research direction and priorities.
  • Leverage your experience across various sectors, particularly in financial services, to inform best practises and methodologies.

What You Bring:

  • Extensive experience as a UX Researcher, User Researcher, or Design Researcher.
  • Proven expertise in both generative (exploratory) and evaluative research methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, with strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable influencing and guiding discussions with stakeholders who may have strong opinions.
  • A broad perspective gained from experience across different sectors, with a preference for candidates with a background in financial services.
