Job Title: Junior Credit Analyst

Salary:£25,000 - £35,000, depending on experience + generous discretionary bonus & benefits

Location: central London, with WFH options

Our client is a multinational commodities trading group headquartered in London with operations across the world. They are now recruiting a Junior Credit Analyst to join their high performing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a quantitative background, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Role:

  • Assist the Board and Financial Analyst in ad-hoc projects and internal/external reporting
  • Loan/Lease Facility Monitoring
  • Reviewing onboarding applications for new corporate counterparties.
  • Screening counterparties for money laundering, sanctions and other risks
  • Assisting in management of the group credit insurance policy
  • Annual reviews of counterparties based on third party credit reports
  • Periodic reconciliations of large data sets
  • Maintenance of electronic filing records Derivative Counterparty Credit:
  • Maintain market research and business intelligence

Requirements:

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or any other strong quantitative background
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint - ability to understand, analyse, manipulate complex models, reports and present results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant volume of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Knowledge of basic statistics
  • Strong attention to detail and scrutiny of all data provided
  • Strong ability to analyse large data sets and present conclusions concisely
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language
