As the Billing Manager, you'll take the helm of the Telecom and Mobile Billing Operations, ensuring that the team delivers top-notch accuracy and efficiency. You’ll lead a talented team and oversee daily billing operations, driving excellence in every aspect of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Billing Operations Management:

  • Command the end-to-end billing process using the aBillity platform, ensuring every invoice is generated on time and with precision.
  • Maintain and optimise the billing system data to meet evolving business needs.
  • Monitor customer usage trends and implement proactive alerting procedures.
  • Oversee CDR imports from all billing suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Dive deep into billing data to uncover trends and discrepancies, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Create comprehensive monthly reports and challenge existing methodologies to elevate reporting quality.
  • Produce detailed dealer and staff commissions reports while enhancing data accessibility for the entire organisation.

3. Customer Support Excellence:

  • Be the go-to problem solver for customer billing inquiries and disputes, ensuring swift resolution and satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with sales and support teams to guarantee a smooth billing experience for clients.
  • Liaise with the Credit Control team to tackle outstanding issues and secure timely payments.

4. Compliance and Audit Leadership:

  • Champion compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, implementing robust billing controls to safeguard against errors and fraud.
  • Continuously review and refine existing processes, aiming to standardise, simplify, and automate wherever possible.

5. Inspiring Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of billing specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Provide ongoing training and support on the billing platform and processes, helping team members excel.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Credit Control teams to streamline invoicing and collection processes while enhancing overall productivity across departments.
