Are you an AAT qualified professional looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your accounting skills? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time credit controller to join our vibrant finance team in Spitalfields, London!
?? Location: Just a convenient 2-minute walk from Liverpool Street train station!

About the Role:
In this role, you will be a vital part of our finance department, overseeing essential accounting functions with a specific focus on credit control, sales invoicing, bank reconciliation, and month-end processes. Your expertise will help ensure the financial health of our organisation while working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain sales invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Proactively handle credit control, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining client communication.
Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Prepare accruals and manage balance sheets to provide a clear picture of financial status.
Monitor debts and credits, ensuring they align with our financial goals.
Assist in month-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Qualifications: AAT qualified or working towards it (Preferred).
Experience: Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, particularly in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with a strong focus on credit control.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero, along with a solid understanding of bank reconciliations and cash allocation.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to manage client and supplier queries confidently. ??
