We are currently seeking a diligent Credit Controller for a 12 month fixed-term contract (FTC) within the Accounting & Finance department of our esteemed retail organisation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing financial records and enhancing our credit control procedures.

Description
- Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring timely payments.
- Implement effective credit control procedures, enhancing financial efficiency.
- Handle invoice queries and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and credit reports.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with sales team to establish credit terms for new clients.
- Reconcile complex accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform credit checks for potential clients and manage credit limits.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- A solid understanding of credit control procedures and financial legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
