Credit Controller - Financial Services Industry

Salary: £35,000-£36,000 + bonus

Duration: 12 months FTC

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office

Hours: 9am - 5pm

We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our market-leading client on a 12 Month fixed-term contract.

Our client is a leading tax, accounting, and advisory firm, who pride themselves on building long lasting relationships. Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will join a growing finance team in a highly sought after industry. A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join the FS world.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic finance team, managing cash collections and aged debt while building strong client relationships.

Main responsibilities and requirements:

  • Responsible for managing a ledger of 600 live accounts
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Credit Control experience
  • Reconciliation and management of the credit process up to legal
  • Investigative in approach
  • Experience in dealing with complex queries
  • Posting payments and client reconciliation
  • Reporting to the Credit Manager
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Intermediate Excel - VLU's and pivots
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in credit control, ideally within a corporate or professional services setting.
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy firm would be ideal but not essential.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • CICM qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach.
