  • Manage the company’s credit control process, ensuring timely and effective collection of outstanding debts.
  • Monitor and report on debtor balances and cash flow, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Conduct credit checks on new customers and maintain accurate records of customer payment histories.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve payment issues, disputes, and queries in a professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the company’s financial objectives.
  • Implement and improve credit control processes to enhance efficiency and reduce bad debt exposure.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit control activities and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller, ideally within a fast-paced, high-profile company.
  • Strong understanding of credit control principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are preferred.
