A London based University are looking for a Credit Controller (Student Income) to join their team. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries related to tuition fees, with a specialisation in processing refunds.

Job duties:

  • Assess student refund claims and lead on the student refund process
  • Handle student exemptions such as discounts, fee waivers, and scholarships, and providing advice on financial liabilities for study breaks
  • Manage invoicing for students, sponsors, and apprenticeships, as well as handling third-party and sponsor contracts
  • Participating in enrolment, deregistration, housing fee queries, and maintaining overseas student data

Candidate profile:

  • Experience working in Higher or Further Education with knowledge of Student Finance England
  • Experience processing refunds
  • Ability to demonstrate that you are highly organised and have excellent communication skills  (both written and verbally)
  • Confident navigating Microsoft Excel (ability to perform VLOOKUPS and Pivot tables)

Job information:

  • Hourly rate: £19.06
  • Per annum salary: £31,402
  • Contract: 6 months temporary with the opportunity to apply for the permanent role
  • Hybrid working: 1 day on site, 4 days working from home
