We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Credit Controller to join our Accounting & Finance team. This role will involve managing and maintaining our accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and resolving outstanding credit issues.

Description

  • Credit Controller:
  • Managing and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger
  • Ensuring timely receipt of payments from customers
  • Resolving credit control issues and disputes
  • Conducting credit checks on potential clients
  • Generating financial reports related to accounts receivable and ageing
  • Communicating with clients regarding their accounts and payments
  • Working closely with the accounting team to implement processes and policies that contribute to accurate invoicing
  • Assisting in ad hoc finance projects as required

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • An academic background in accounting, finance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and policies
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
