Description
- Credit Controller:
- Managing and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger
- Ensuring timely receipt of payments from customers
- Resolving credit control issues and disputes
- Conducting credit checks on potential clients
- Generating financial reports related to accounts receivable and ageing
- Communicating with clients regarding their accounts and payments
- Working closely with the accounting team to implement processes and policies that contribute to accurate invoicing
- Assisting in ad hoc finance projects as required
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- An academic background in accounting, finance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and policies
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
