An Exciting new opportunity to join the finance department of a Large established construction firm based in Edmonton N18.As the Credit Controller you will be responsible for managing the debts of a business. You will be required as the Credit Controller to oversee all debts owed to a company from existing creditors and manages new requests for credit.

The Basics
- The salary is £25-28k depending on background
- Mon Fri 9:00-5:30pm
The Responsibilities:
- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
- Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers credit rankings with Credit Reference Agency.
- Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
- Ensuring timely payment of debts
- Following up payments as needed
- Negotiating re-payment plans
- Responding to relevant client enquiries
- Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems BACS and Cheques
- Statement run and despatch
- Credit card invoice and despatch Credit card payments taken
- Credit notes raise and despatch to customer
- Monthly reconciliation Sage/Skip Trak
The Skills & Requirements:
- Strong Background in a credit control role
- Excellent communication skills.
- Car Driver due to location
