Role: Credit Controller - Quick Start

VisionFR is delighted to be working with a vibrant and fast paced global marketing agency. The role has responsibility of looking after debts in both the UK and the Middle East and will work alongside other credit controllers in the Group. You’ll be working closely with the senior credit controller.
Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase order numbers on invoices to ensure that they are not rejected and paid on time (including the management of missing, overbilled or incorrect PO’s with internal staff and clients)
- Manage the upload of invoices to portals - ensuring the client receives the invoices on
- Ensure payments are received according to payment plan / contracted terms
- Forecasting of cash receipts (which is monitored against actual)
- Resolving account queries - working closely with the wider team to resolve issues or escalate.
- Preparing regular reports on debtor status - adding commentary
- Daily posting of all cash receipts / cash allocations to payments made
- Requesting remittances to ensure payments are correctly allocated to paid invoices
- Dispute resolution including managing any ensuing legal process once approved by the group finance director
Credit Controller Key Attributes Required:
- Proven credit control experience within a creative agency ( design, marketing, PR, media)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with senior management and various stakeholders
- An organised, meticulous and self-disciplined approach
- Ability to work as an integral part of a team and to meet group and individual deadlines
