Our client is a leading, luxury jewellery wholesaler located in the City of London who are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their finance team.Working alongside the Head of Finance, this position will be focussed on credit control, managing accounts payable/receivables and supporting the day-to-day financial operations.Our client is seeking a candidate with a positive and proactive mindset who can actively contribute to the business during an exciting period of growth.Key Responsibilities:-Oversee and manage the accounts payable and receivable ledgers-Dealing with supplier and customer inquiries -Handling the credit control and collections processes-Proactively following up with customers on overdue payments-Negotiating payment plans -Conducting thorough credit assessments on new and existing customers to manage risk effectively-Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and payment statuses-Preparing detailed reports on outstanding debts, payment trends and collections-Use of Xero softwareKey skills:-Proven experience in credit control -Strong communication and negotiation skills-Proficient in accounting software and skilled in MS Office, particularly ExcelThis is an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller seeking a permanent, full-time role.
