Job Title: Credit Controller - Residential Portfolio Salary: £30k - £35k Location: West End, London

Summary

We are representing a rapidly Build-to-Rent owner operator based in the West End of London. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their Finance Team to support collections of rent and other ad-hoc payments.

The role is a great opportunity for anyone with around 1 years experience and above to take a bit more of a step up and develop their skills, with future opportunities to move into more senior positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Reconcile accounts, process payments, calculate charges, and identify/process overpayments/refunds.
  • Customer Management: Update customer records, serve notices, handle inquiries, and pursue debt recovery.
  • Legal Actions: Coordinate legal actions and instruct bailiffs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Raise invoices, chase payments, produce reports, and post unposted charges.
  • Teamwork: Coordinate with property managers and legal teams.
  • Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with legal and company regulations.
  • Renewal Management: Update renewal tracker and confirm renewal readiness.
  • Sales Support: Assist with payment date calculations and pro-rata amounts.
  • Property Management: Liaise with property managers for collection process and final reminders.
  • Data Management: Ensure system (Qube) is up-to-date with customer details and lease copies.
