I am delighted to support my client, an award-winning London business, in recruiting a Credit Controller for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Credit Control Supervisor, contributing to the company’s financial objectives within the IBA function. You will focus on managing IBA accounts, credit control, cash allocation, and resolving general queries. As this is a fixed-term contract, we are looking for someone who is available immediately or on a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage credit control, ensuring timely collection of funds from brokers
  • Ensure accurate cash allocation and resolve any related queries as required
  • Provide support to team members as needed, including cash allocation
  • Take ownership of queries and resolve them effectively to reduce aged debt
  • Distribute monthly statements to relevant parties
  • Respond to incoming emails and telephone enquiries from brokers
  • Monitor overall debt levels and outstanding amounts over 60 days overdue
  • Track and manage unallocated cash value and item count.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong understanding of credit control procedures and IBA accounting within the Insurance industry
  • Experience with Brokasure Desktop is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of multi-currency transactions is advantageous but not required
