Credit Risk Analyst/AdministratorRef: LS46034A Japanese trading house is currently recruiting a Credit Risk Analyst/Administrator to join their Risk Management Department in London. In this role you will be responsible for conducting both quantitative and qualitative assessments of credit risk for the company and its affiliates, as well as managing the Credit Application process.The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a similar role/professional environment and 1-2 years of Credit Analyst experience or Bookkeeping certification.-------------------------------------------Eligible applicants:- (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner- (X) NOT eligible: YMS, Graduate Visa, Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorshipWork type: Hybrid Working option available on request if required (Minimum 3 days in the office)Visa support: No-------------------------------------------TYPE: Fixed Term Contract until March 2026, full-timeWORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to FridaySALARY: ÂŁ30-35K depending on experience START: Circa 6th January 2025LOCATION: City of London

Credit Risk Analyst/Administrator Main Responsibilities:• Analysing financial statements and preparing credit reviews for the applications from UK business departments and affiliate companies• Recommend credit ratings/limits and credit enhancement as appropriate• Manage the inflow and outflow of Credit Applications• Conduct sanction checks of new counterparties and registering the entities on the SAP system and handling related queries• This role will be involved in other ad-hoc duties as required by the line manager from time to timeCredit Risk Analyst/Administrator Ideal Candidate:• Have proven experience in a similar role/professional environment• 1-2 years Credit Analyst experience or Bookkeeping certification• An understanding of company accounts including balance sheets, income and cash flow statements• A self-motivated, commercially oriented and driven individual who can demonstrate an understanding of credit risk assessment and management• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines where necessary• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail• Proficient in Microsoft office (Basic- Intermediate Excel• Proactive and flexible with excellent time management skills
