Your new companyHays are working exclusively with a highly reputable international business that supplies state of the art medical technology on an international scale. This company are constantly evolving and as such are looking to recruit an experienced credit professional to their team.Your new roleThis role will be wholly responsible for the credit and AR functions for the UK entities and the Scandinavian entities. You will be in control of all cash collection and treasury processes and report to the Director of Credit & Treasury directly. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Make collections calls on past due customers
  • Monitor DSO and AR ageing by customer
  • Identify actions needed for best collection results
  • Escalate issues to the AR Management and other departments as required
  • Assessing credit worthiness of potential and existing customers including determining credit limits and payment terms as and when required by management
  • Build partnerships with the rest of the finance team and other departments (customer services, sales)
  • Prepare and report on daily, weekly and monthly figures

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, but an exact working pattern is negotiable. What you'll need to succeedYou will be an experienced credit professional who has a proven track record of collections within an international capacity. You must be a fluent Swedish and English speaker, and knowledge of Norwegian or Finnish would be advantageous. You will have a strong working knowledge of SAP and be highly computer-literate.
