Mason & Dale Recruitment is collaborating with a Global Exhibitions company to find an experienced Content Manager. You'll lead and unify content strategy across Europe, manage content creation, improve processes, and work with cross-functional teams to boost engagement and reach goals. You'll also manage and nurture your direct reports, ensuring teams collaborate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a unified content strategy across all regions in collaboration with the Portfolio leadership team, ensuring alignment with overarching objectives.
  • Streamline content production processes to reduce duplication and optimize resources.
  • Maintain high content quality standards for brand consistency and integrity.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve content performance and introduce innovative formats and distribution methods tailored to different audience segments.
  • Manage a team of 8, with 4 direct reports, focusing on their performance and development.
  • Regularly review content plans, timelines, and KPIs, making recommendations as needed.
  • Facilitate collaboration between marketing, conference, and editorial teams to ensure cohesive content initiatives.
  • Support Sales teams in delivering sponsored content and driving revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee community building to enhance engagement, interaction, and brand affinity.
  • Manage speaker and subscriber databases with support from business intelligence teams, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for budgeting and forecasting.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in management, with a focus on the continued development and nurturing of accomplished and ambitious teams.
  • Proven ability to leverage strengths and improve weaknesses within a team.
  • Proven ability to leverage data to create strategic content
  • Identify new and initiative ways to streamline strategy
  • Strategic thinker with a strong track record in project management and commercialisation of content.
