We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join an established sporting goods company. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient processing and handling of customer orders and queries, supporting the sales team, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
You will be joining a small London office of 10. This is an office-based role, with the potential to have one day working from home over time.Â
Day-to-day of the role:- Process orders and credit notes, maintain up-to-date filing, and handle customer queries regarding product orders.
- Issue collection notes for our carrier company to ensure timely dispatch and arrange collections from customers as needed.
- Manage product returns in line with company procedures and update records accordingly.
- Support the company's agents and sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and details of the company’s sales and marketing programs to provide accurate information to staff, customers, or consumers.
- Assist in stock taking, unloading stock deliveries, and preparing routine and ad hoc customer service reports.
- Manage daily post distribution, cheque receipts recording, and stationery supplies.
- Distribute sales and debtor reports to the sales force regularly.
- Proven experience in customer service or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and report generation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the company’s products and services is preferred.
Benefits:
- Annual salary of £25,000 - £26,000 per annum
